Beyonce is back at the NIA on Thursday 12 November.

Beyonce’s current European tour has been an incredible success with over 350,000 tickets sold over 32 shows – the UK leg of the tour sold out completely with Beyoncé playing to over 100,000 fans. Featuring her incredible 10 piece all female band, 3 backing singers, unique stage outfits created with fashion legend Thierry Mugler, state of art HD screens and the hottest crew of dancers the “I AM…” show is a spectacular tour de force showcasing Beyoncé as one of the must see live performers in the world right now.

Some great gigs coming up!

Hey readers,

Just a few personal recommendations I thought I would put into the City Nites blog in regards to events and gigs in the area.

The new 02 Birmingham academy has recently opened, Just had a look on their website and they have quite a few decent bands playing soon.

Bloc Party - Amazing band, If you are into your indie you really have to check out these guys (specifically their silent alarm album as its epic) They play on the 15th of October as part of their "bloctober" tour, see what they did there?

Bring Me The Horizon - If you are into metalcore, these guys are worth checking out. I seen them once about a year ago and they are a lot of fun and normally come with great support acts. Check out their Count Your Blessings album. If your not a fan of metal though stay clear! They play 02 Academy on the 24th of october.

Fightstar - Metal/alternative rock band formed with ex front man from busted Charlie Simpson. These guys couldnt be more different from Busted though, worth checking out for sure. They play 02 Academy 30 October.
